Name: Alli Biver

Theta Member class: MC 21

Major/Degree and Graduation Year: Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing, May 2025

Hometown: Worden, IL

Where you live now: Just moved home from Boston, MA lived there all of fall

semester, Moving to Ann Arbor, MI in January

What have you been up to since graduation?

I am currently working for Theta Headquarters as a New Chapter Support Specialist. This fall, I

had the incredible opportunity to live in Boston, Massachusetts for the entire semester, where I

supported our Zeta Xi Chapter as well as other chapters across the area, including Tufts

University, Boston University, MIT, Brown University, and Yale University. In January, I’ll be

moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan to assist with Theta’s reestablishment at the University of

Michigan, an experience I am beyond excited for and grateful to be a part of.

What's your favorite thing about your job?

My favorite part of my job is being able to take all of the love I have for Theta and pour it into

others. Getting to support members during such formative moments in their lives and watching

them grow into confident, empowered women is incredibly fulfilling. It feels meaningful to know

that I’m helping shape experiences that will stay with them long after college.

What's your favorite thing about the city you live in?

ree

Boston has been a wonderful home for the past three months. I’ve loved immersing myself in the city’s rich history, walking through neighborhoods filled with character, and experiencing the beauty that comes with living near the water. It’s a city that feels both vibrant and grounding, and it has been such a special place to call home during this season of my life.

What are you passionate about?

One of my greatest strengths, and passions, is building genuine relationships and wanting to see others succeed. I truly care about helping people feel supported, confident, and capable of reaching their goals. My current role allows me to connect deeply with students and guide them toward success, which has been incredibly meaningful and affirming for me.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I love exploring whatever city I’m living in, trying new restaurants, and cooking meals at home. I also spend a lot of time with my cat, Ashtray, who was the absolute best companion while I adjusted to post-grad life in a new city. He made the transition feel a lot less

lonely and a lot more comforting.

Other future career or life goals?

More than anything, I hope to feel fulfilled by the work I’m doing and confident that I’m contributing something meaningful to

society and my community. Wherever I end up, I want my work to align with my values and

allow me to make a positive impact on others.

What do you miss most about Mizzou?

What I miss most about Mizzou is how small the campus felt once I found my people. I loved walking to class or an org meeting and almost always running into someone I knew. That sense of familiarity and community made such a big campus feel like home!

What do you miss most about Theta?

I miss my Theta besties so much. Theta gave me lifelong friendships that I truly cherish, and being away from them has been one of the hardest parts of post-grad life. They are forever my people, no matter where life takes us.

What is one thing you took away from being a part of Theta in college that has

shaped you into the woman you are today?

Being a member of Theta and serving as Chapter President played a huge role in shaping who I am today. Theta consistently pushed me to grow, lead with confidence, and show up authentically. I am the woman I am today because of the influence of the Thetas who came before me and the desire to be a role model for those who came after me.

Do you have a specific favorite Theta memory?

My favorite Theta memory was traveling to London and Florence over spring break my senior

year with Elizabeth and Emma to visit our besties Kavya, Dani, Lainey, and Ava while they were

studying abroad. Experiencing new cities, traveling together, and creating unforgettable

memories with my closest friends was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
