Philanthrophy

Every fall semester, Theta has their annual philanthropy week consisting of a all-night pancake breakfast and the newly added flag football tournament. The Theta all-night pancake breakfast is open to family, friends, alumnae, and other members of the campus and community to come to the Kappa Alpha Theta house to eat pancakes to help raise money for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The newly added flag football tournament is an event which involves teams getting together and playing flag football. Each team contributes money that goes towards CASA. The first and second place winners get prizes.

During the spring, Theta's host their annual Mi Casa es Su Casa event at their house. There is Mexican food served in a fun, festive atmosphere. The 2011 spring event will be held on Friday, April 29th.

In total, this year Theta raised a record of $24,000 for CASA and hopes to have another successful year ahead.
